PrintScan's SWFT software is designed for business and organizations with SWFT upload requirements. Our software will allow for the creation of SWFT compliant EFT fingerprint files. This software version requires your own external access to the SWFT DCSA web portal to upload EFT files.
All software, fingerprint hardware, installation, training, and support are provided. Software updates ensure you will always be up to date on any future SWFT changes.

PrintScan's SWFT live scan software will be installed on a computer owned by the purchaser, who will perform their own fingerprint collection.
PrintScan will provide remote installation and training which is included in the cost of the enrollment software.
Installation includes the configuration of printers for fingerprint card and passport photo printing.

PrintScan's Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT) live scan software creates electronic fingerprint files (EFT) to enable cleared Defense industry users to submit applicants who require an investigation by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for a personnel security clearance. SWFT eliminates the manual paper process, expedites the clearance process, and provides end-to-end accountability for PII data.
Using PrintScan's SWFT live scan solution, you can collect the fingerprints and save the file in the required format to meet SWFT, OPM and FBI standards. The Facility Security Officer (FSO) uploads the file to SWFT. You will be required to coordinate through the sponsoring FSO to register your equipment with SWFT prior to processing any National Industrial Security Program (NISP) applicants. Our live scan solution uses the approved Suprema RealScan G10 fingerprint scanner and creates the approved EFT file to be uploaded to SWFT.
Who can use SWFT?
Cleared organizations listed in the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) Database and Department of Defense (DoD) Components can use SWFT to submit electronic fingerprint (eFP) files for applicants requiring a background investigation for a personnel security clearance.
How do I obtain a SWFT or WebEnroll account?
Please refer to the SWFT Access, Registration and Testing Procedures. The document is available on the SWFT DCSA website. Select SWFT Resources, and under Access Request, click on the "Access Registration Test Guide" link. For WebEnroll users, the eFP online enrollment feature can be requested by checking the "Enroller" item in Box 15b on the Personnel Security System Access Request (PSSAR) form. PSSARs should be submitted to your Organization Administrator for account creation.
Can I e-mail PSSARs to the SWFT Helpdesk?
No, SWFT PSSARs must be submitted directly to your SWFT Site/Organization Administrator. If you are an Organization Administrator, submit your PSSARs to the DCSA CET at: [email protected].
My company is a Third Party Vendor whose fingerprint scanners are being sponsored for use with SWFT by a cleared DOD contractor. Will I have to re-register the same equipment each time we offer services to another NISP contractor?
Fingerprint scanning workstations or server-based scanning systems do not have to be re-registered or re-tested before being able to service other client companies. Provide your customers with the manufacturer and serial number of your scanners, your CAGE Code, or the CAGE Code of the company that sponsored the registration of your devices so that your customers can verify in SWFT that your equipment has been registered and approved for use.
What kind of computer and printer do I need?
The following link contains minimum computer specs as well as recommended FBI certified printer models. A printer is not required for electronic submissions.
